Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use One. One is currently available to residents of Australia only.

Your account

You may hold only one account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and a genuine photo of yourself.

Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Create fake profiles or impersonate anyone
• Use One for commercial solicitation or spam
• Attempt to extract other users' contact information through the app

One reserves the right to remove content or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

How One works

• You may send one like per day. This limit is enforced by the app and cannot be circumvented.
• Likes are not visible to the recipient unless a mutual match occurs.
• Matches expire 48 hours after being created unless a message is sent.
• Discovery is sorted by compatibility. No compatibility scores are shown.

Payments

One costs $100 AUD to join. Alternatively, users who invite five friends to join One may access the service free of charge. Either way, access is permanent — you will not be charged again, and your access is not affected by future price changes.

Payments are processed by Apple (iOS) and are subject to Apple's terms of purchase. All sales are final unless required otherwise by Australian Consumer Law.

Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and text you submit. By using One you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your content to other users of the app for the purpose of operating the service. We will not use your content for advertising or share it outside the app.

No guarantees

One does not guarantee that you will find a match or form a relationship. The app is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability for any claim arising from use of One is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
